January Weekend

Friday morning, the phone rang and it was Nana (again). She asked if I could come over and spend the night. It was a rainy, cold weekend and I wasn't doing anything anyway, so I went to keep her, Pop Pop's and Aunt Emily entertained for Friday night and Saturday. Aunt Emily had one of her friends over, so we played in Aunt Katie's room for awhile. I went to bed at 9:00 and woke up early on Saturday morning. We played and ate all day. That's just about all you can do on a rainy Saturday. I tried to play with Toby (their cat), but he didn't want to have anything to do with me.
While Nana was in her bathroom putting on her makeup, I decided to go hang out with her. Aunt Emily made me a "playpen" with my toys, so I wouldn't get into the cabinets and unroll the toilet paper roll. She made my playpen in the BATHTUB. What's up with that ?? I had fun, but, where was the water?
Later that evening, after we played all day, Nana gave me a bath so I would be clean and smelling good when my mom and dad came to pick me up. I splashed and laughed alot.
My Nana thinks I'm so special, so she puts a big towel and my P.J.'s in the dryer when I get in the tub, so when I get out, I have a warm towel to dry off with.
Then, mom came to pick me up and take me home to watch the football game with dad and my cousins. She wrapped me in my warm blanket and put my cap on. Off we went.

Weekend at Nana's

Nana and Pop Pop's called me Friday afternoon and wanted me to come over for the weekend. Well, you know I packed my bags pretty fast. They always make me a good bed to sleep in with pillows all around me so I don't roll off. Nana sleeps with me and stays close. I just wish she wouldn't have that camera in her hand when I wake up. I hadn't even brushed my hair, but at least I wake up smiling.
I also started climbing into things, not only because it's fun, but I get a better view. We had a great weekend - reading books, playing, laughing, riding on Nana's back like a horse, and of course eating alot.

Happy New Year 2010

Wow - what a weekend of bringing in the New Year. I totally crashed.

Happy New Year! I am 13 1/2 months old and got to spend the night at Nana's house to bring in the New Year. We played, laughed and ate - but we couldn't stay awake for the fireworks. I think we all fell asleep around 9:30.

I found a new game to play while Nana puts on her make up in the bathroom. Just keep unrolling the toilet paper roll until it's all gone, and then shred it all over the floor. Nana kept laughing at me as she was telling me not to do that.

On New Year's Day, Me, pop pop, Nana and Aunt Emily, went over to Mamaw and Granddaddy's house to visit and of course....eat. Uncle Dave and Aunt Bonnie came in town. They just had a new baby and they named her Evangaline. I got to see my other cousin, Eliza. My Aunt Char, Aunt Jan and Robbie came also. It was a pretty day, so Aunt Jan, Nana and Aunt Emily took me and Eliza for a stroll.
