Christmas 2009

My first picture with Santa didn't go very well. He seemed happy, but I sure wasn't.
We went to my Nana's on Christmas day morning and I got a new wagon. I got lots of clothes and toys from both sides of my family. Santa sure was good to me, but I don't like getting my picture taken with him. Merry Christmas.

Just being curious

I spent the night at Nana's house again last weekend. Found some of her cards in a box and I just wanted to go through them while she was putting clothes away. I think I got them all out or order. Sunday, she took me back to Sunday School. I got to wear my Christmas dress and my new red tights and new black shoes. I was looking pretty cute!

Sunday School

I spent the night at Nana's house Saturday. We had fun playing and of course eating all day. I'm exhausted after spending the day at Nana's house but I slept all night. They get up early on Sunday's to go to church, so they woke me up at 6:30. I was sleepy, but I woke up with a smile on my face. She had the car loaded and off we went to church. The good thing about that was, I got to go in my p.j.'s. After Nana and Pop Pop's got everything ready for choir, they got me dressed in my pretty purple outfit and fed me my cereal and banana. Then off we went to stroll around the church to look at the Christmas trees and all the decorations. Nana took me into the Worship Center to watch the little kids choir practice before service started. The girls were dressed in pretty Christmas dresses and singing on the platform. I kept laughing. Nana kept telling me that I could sing up there when I get older. Everyone kept coming up to Nana saying how cute I was. Then, off to Sunday school. I cried when Nana left, but then played with my new friends. Then, when one kid started crying, we all started crying. Perfect timing on my part because that was the time Nana came back to get me. Mamaw, Granddaddy and Aunt Jan came too. I think they all felt sorry for me. After church, I had to go home because Nana and Pop Pops had to be back at church for a Christmas program. I fussed and cried alittle bit when Nana left. Maybe she'll let me spend the night again next weekend.

What's That White Stuff falling from the Sky?

It's Friday, December 4, 2009 and I just turned one years old a few weeks ago. It's really cold outside and white stuff was falling from the sky. My mom said it was snow. Nana had to work today and took pictures of it from one of the classrooms. My mom wouldn't let me go outside because I have a bad cough. Nana wanted to make me a snowman, but the snow didn't stick to the ground.

Everyone has a cell phone but me. When I go to Nana's house, I get to use my Aunt Emily's. They are real easy to work. Just slide the phone open, turn the phone with the screen on top, keyboard on bottom, then place both thumbs on the keyboard to text. Maybe Santa will bring me my own for Christmas.

Thanksgiving Day 2009

For Thanksgiving we went to my Aunt Char's and Uncle Stan's house. I wore this cute outfit that my Mimi and Paw Paw gave me for my birthday. I looked so cute in it. All my cousins, Aunts, Uncles, mamaw, Granddaddy were there. Aunt Char had her tree up and decorated and I got to play with Jake. Nana brought me some blueberries. Those were good. I had mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes (the real stuff) and turkey for lunch. We had a good day.

Happy Birthday To Me

This weekend, November 21, 2009, I turned ONE!
I had 2 parties, and got to eat cake with my hands. That was fun !
Thank you for all my gifts and especially to my mommy and daddy. I love you.

Sunday School

I spent the night at Nana's house Saturday night. We played and had fun. She took me to Sunday School again. I didn't want to go in that room because Nana wasn't going to stay with me. She said she had to go sing in the choir. So, I pulled myself together and went in my classroom, played, met new friends and we sang songs. My teacher took a picture of me to make a Christmas Ornament for the Sunday School Christmas Tree.I didn't cry very long. Nana came back to pick me up and we went to see my other Grandparents in their Sunday School class. Then we went to eat lunch with Pop Pops, Mamaw, Granddaddy, Aunt Char, Uncle Stan and Kenny. Aunt Emily couldn't go with us because she had to stay at church and work in another classroom.
It was a good day.

Halloween Weekend

These pictures are alittle late, but my Nana has been busy this week. Last Friday I went to her house to spend the night, which ended up being the entire weekend because she didn't want me to go home. We had a busy weekend, but it was fun.

I helped Nana wash clothes-not sure which machine does what, but I put clean clothes into the machine that had water in it. There were a few things that I took out of the basket because I didn't like the way Nana folded them.

Then we had playtime.

After I got cleaned up, we went to Home Depot.

I wish they wouldn't put things on my head - It messes up my hair.

It's Halloween Day.

Then, Off to the park. We stopped and got chicken Nuggets. Nana, picked the chicken and gave me little bite sizes. Loved those nuggets.

She tought me how to drink out of a straw. That was pretty cool.











Then.... off we went to play. I think that kid over there is checking me out.

"Nana, can I go through that hole?"

"The slide is fun. Nana wouldn't go down with me. I think she was scared."

After about an hour in the park, we left to go home. It was a long day.
